My name is Denise Wilburn. I am the founder and operator of Renew Counseling Services. I have been a Licensed Counselor for 25+ years and have treated those suffering from simple to severe mental health issues. I believe EDUCATION is the best therapy tool I can give a client. I take the time to make sure my clients understand why they (or their teens) are experiencing difficulties and how their bodies/brains are connected to the problem. I use several techniques, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, to help my clients recognize and change unhealthy thoughts. Therapy at Renew is solution focused. I help my clients set goals and accomplish them through creative and individualized techniques.
